Pop Culture Piranha

Netflix added to their expansive library on January 1st, one of the most beloved sitcoms in American history, Friends. Friends was a trailblazing show that set the bar for every show that came after it. Without Friends, many of the shows that we watch today, probably wouldn’t exist.

My personal favourite character was Phoebe Buffay, acted brilliantly by Lisa Kudrow.

Heres 10 reasons why I think Phoebe Buffay is the best Friends cast member.

1. She was just the right type of crazy.

2. She wasn’t afraid to voice her opinions.

3. She embodies everyone in life.

4. She was bold and unapologetic.

5. She came up with the perfect excuses.

6. She’s passionate and focused.

7. She isn’t afraid to ask the pertinent questions.

8. She coaxes her friends along the way.

9. She came out with some of the best one liners

Hello, my name’s Joe and I’m a pop culture junkie. 💉

There, I admitted it. I have an addiction. I love pop culture and everything that comes with it, whether that be art, music, books, film, television… the list goes on!

There’s something so fascinating about it all, speaking about it makes you seem vastly more intelligent, interesting and in the know to all of your friends, family and colleagues.

Of course it’s not to everyones taste. Some people simply don’t care if Kim Kardashian crops baby North out of an Instagram selfie (see below 😲), or about the most recent episode of American Horror Story (still crying over that Pepper backstory 😭) and that’s fair enough, but this blogs main aim is to entertain the people that do care.
